Helen found her love of dance at age six, attending classes at Littleton Ballet Academy and eventually becoming a part of their pre-professional ballet company. Her love of dance continued into college, but a knee injury made it painful to take proper ballet classes. After surgery, Helen began trying different types of fitness classes in order to keep her body strong and encourage the healing of her injury. This included Zumba, Barre, and Spinning classes. This is how Helen found the Ballet Physique, as the classes combined her love for ballet and her passion for fitness. Helen’s knee injury has drastically improved and become stronger due to frequent classes at the Ballet Physique. Helen is applying to schools to achieve a Masters degree in Nursing, to accompany her Bachelors degree in Spanish.
In addition to fitness, Helen enjoys cooking and traveling, and has a strong love for animals (in particular her rescued cat and dog that constantly keep her laughing.) Helen is continuously inspired by the community at the Ballet Physique and enjoys the positive work environment it creates.
