Ballet Physique

Ballet Physique®, our signature class, is a high-intensity barre workout that blends strength training with ballet-inspired movement. Designed using the principles of barre technique (fatiguing each muscle through targeted, small-range movements), this class will effectively produce an exquisitely sculpted and lean body. Prepare to chisel your arms, shape your thighs, lift your seat, and flatten your abs from a variety of positions with a mix of evolving and innovative choreography. Bonus: modifications are provided for students of every level!

Mat Physique

Because our lives demand that we have a strong core, this is the perfect workout for beginners, barre enthusiasts, and Pilates devotees alike! Mat Physique combines the body sculpting system used in our Ballet Physique format with key concepts of mat Pilates. The goal is to target the body’s smaller, stabilizing muscle groups in order to create a figure that’s polished and balanced with a set of flat, chiseled abs as its centerpiece. As in a traditional mat class, you can expect to work your abdominals, seat, and back muscles with an emphasis on posture, alignment, and breathing techniques.
Offered at the Littleton studio only

Physique 40/20

This hybrid workout will produce lean, sculpted, and lengthened muscles through an accelerated blend of strength training, cardiovascular movement, ballet postures, and stretching. During the first 40 minutes of class, you will receive a head-to-toe workout, following the guidelines of our signature Ballet Physique format. To conclude the hour, your instructor will dim the lights and lead an uninterrupted 20-minutes of deep, luxurious stretching. It’s the perfect way to relieve stress, quiet the mind, and enhance your flexibility.

Barre Forty Five

Barre Forty Five a brisk-paced, calorie intensive barre workout that only takes a slim 45 minutes out of your day. Think of it as an accelerated version of our signature Ballet Physique class—but with a more confident attitude! Expect the same thorough workout from head to toe, but with simpler choreography and a sharper focus on moderate to high resistance; here, you’ll get to play with all sorts of equipment including tubes, rings, sliders, and weights to build lean and strong muscles in the same time capacity as a 1 hour class. While Barre Forty Five is 100% low-impact, you can look forward to a significant calorie burn through the use of dynamic, multi-muscular movements.

Cardio Dance

Bring a sweat towel for this 60-minute class that feels more like a dance party than a workout. Each class features three 10 minute sequences of continuous dance cardio designed to elevate your heart rate and challenge your endurance. Because cardio sets alternate with shorter intervals of seat, thigh, and ab work, you’ll always have an opportunity to catch your breath in preparation for the next cardio party. Don’t fret about not knowing the moves; our seasoned instructors will break down the choreography and commit to repeating the same routines for one month. Through repetition, you’ll gain confidence, coordination, a stronger heart, and measurable results…although, you’ll have too much fun to even realize it!

Cardio Sculpt

Cardio Sculpt is a class designed to improve athletic performance and heart health through an intelligent blend of cardiovascular intervals and barre sculpting. It’s also a great cardio alternative to our dance-based classes. Here, you’ll experience dynamic, full body movements that will put your endurance to the test. While grace and style are hallmarks of The Ballet Physique, this class presents simpler exercises and focuses on executing them with precision and power. Additional benefits include increased speed, agility, and core control. Remember, you are an athlete every time you step up to the barre! (Suitable for all levels; modifications will be provided for high impact exercises)

Yin Yoga

Based on principles of deep stretching, our Yin class was created to help breathe life into your flexibility routine. Here, you will explore a variety of standing and floor postures aimed at stretching the connective tissues of the the knees, hips, and spine. Because flexibility is an important component of fitness, stretching properly and consistently will help fortify your barre practice as you increase your range of motion and enhance the suppleness of your newly sculpted and elongated musculature. Use this passive yoga approach to promote and sustain your flexibility while reveling in the added benefits of peaceful meditation.
