Heather grew up right here in Colorado, where she began dancing at the age of five. She spent her middle school and high school years training in ballet, jazz and tap at Shelly True Dance Academy. Following high school, Heather moved to Los Angeles where she was accepted as a scholarship student at the Edge Performing Arts Center. She spent four years dancing in California, working for Los Angeles Danceforce, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and assisting choreographer Mandy Moore.

In 2001, Heather returned to Colorado to teach dance and to attend the University of Colorado to study business. She has spent the past nine years teaching dance throughout the Denver Metro area at Shelly True Dance Academy, Soul Motion and Cherry Creek Dance. In 2008, Heather fulfilled her dream of performing in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular as a Radio City Rockette!

Heather is thrilled to be teaching at The Ballet Physique. She loves the fantastic blend of fitness and ballet—and its ability to transform your body. When she’s not at the studio, she can be found running around after her two amazing children and hopefully finding a little downtime in the day to spend with her husband, Brian.
